The 2024-25 summer transfer window is set to open in a few days, and some Super Eagles players are linked with moves to the English Premier League.

The English top-flight division is one of the top five European leagues, and several star players dream of playing in it.

Sports Brief takes a look at Nigerian players who have been linked with a summer move to the Premier League.

Nigerian players linked with Premier League move

1. Victor Osimhen

According to Soccernet, Osimhen has been tipped to leave Napoli this summer, and several Premier League teams are showing interest in the Nigerian striker.

Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing the Super Eagles star but are having difficulty meeting the price tag Napoli placed on him.

2. Kelechi Iheanacho

The former Manchester City forward was released by newly promoted side Leicester City at the end of his contract with the club and is currently a free agent.

According to a report by All Nigeria Soccer, EPL side Aston Villa are monitoring the Super Eagles forward as they see him as a perfect replacement for Jhon Duran, who is close to joining Chelsea.

3. Victor Boniface

Boniface led Bayer Leverkusen to their first Bundesliga title in the just concluded, and they achieved the feat while being unbeaten.

The Nigerian striker's contribution hasn't gone unnoticed by top European clubs, but West Ham United are hoping they can bring him to the English top-flight league.

4. Raphael Onyedika

Onyedika recently scored his first goal for the Super Eagles against Benin Republic and has been linked with moving away from Club Brugge.

According to a report by Soccernet, the Super Eagles midfielder is attracting interest from EPL clubs, including Crystal Palace, Everton, and Nottingham Forest.

The Belgian champions are expected to place a €20-25 million price tag on the Nigerian international.

5. Bright Osayi-Samuel

Osayi-Samuel finished the 2023-24 season with Fenerbahce on a good note by lifting the Turkish Cup but might leave despite Jose Mourinho's appointment as the club's new coach.

EPL sides Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton Wanderers want the Super Eagles fullback this summer.

Okocha spotted with Osimhen

Sports Brief earlier reported that Nollywood superstar, Charles Okocha, was spotted with Osimhen amid issues with Finidi George.

In a viral video on social media, Okocha was seen having fun with the Nigerian striker at the Napoli man's residence.
