Premier Soccer League side, Kaizer Chiefs, are eyeing SuperSport United midfielder Grant Margeman, as coach Nasreddine Nabi's appointment is set to be confirmed.

Amakhosi are desperate to land the Bafana Bafana midfielder ahead of their PSL rivals during the summer transfer window.

The club is expected to confirm the appointment of their new head coach by the end of June.

The Soweto giants will make efforts to bolster their squad ahead of next season, while a number of players are also expected to leave.

Itumeleng Khune, Njabulo Ngcobo, George Matlou, Siyethemba Sithebe, Keagan Dolly, and Sifiso Hlanti are on the verge of leaving as their respective contracts expire by the end of June.

The South African also reports that Zitha Kwinika, Tebogo Potsane, and Mduduzi Mdantsane are at a crossroads with the club.

Further reports suggest that Sabelo Radebe and Samkelo Zwane could leave the club next season, either permanently or on loan.

The future of Edson Castillo remains uncertain, and the Venezuelan could be sold this summer, meaning there would be gaps in several departments.

Idiski Times reports that Chiefs are now looking to sign SuperSport United midfielder Grant Margeman. The publication wrote:

“SuperSport United midfielder Grant Margeman has attracted interest from Kaizer Chiefs after a scintillating 2023/34 season.
Chiefs are said to be looking at Margeman, should they look to bolster their midfield options in the upcoming season but Matsatsantsa are not keen on the idea of his exit.”

Pitso Mosimane speaks on Morena's move

Sports Brief earlier reported that former Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane explained how the Brazilians beat Kaizer Chiefs to the signing of Bafana Bafana star Thapelo Morena.

The Glamour Boys were arguably the biggest team in the Premier Soccer League years ago, but they are losing their crown to Sundowns, who are slowly emerging as the most desirable club in South Africa.

Morena joined Masandawana from Bloemfontein Celtic in 2016 and he has won the South African Premier Division six times.
