Almeria FC youngster Sergio Arribas recently earned plaudits on social media after dramatically saving a couple from drowning.
The 22-year-old is holidaying in the Maldives after a gruelling season with Almeria, which saw his side relegated from the Spanish top flight.
The Indálicos had an underwhelming campaign, managing just three wins all season.
A combination of 12 draws and 23 losses meant Almeria ended their season with just 21 points, which was not good enough to keep them in the top flight.

Arribas saves two lives
Away from football, Arribas was relaxing with his partner in what looked like an infinity pool when he noticed a couple that was struggling in the water down below.
The forward sprung into action, ditching his private pool to make his way into a larger body of water through a water slide installed in the holiday home.
According to Football Espana, he was joined by his girlfriend, and while equipped with a floating device, guided the distraught couple back to dry land.
Arribas’ club history
A product of the Real Madrid academy, the young forward made 14 senior appearances for Real Madrid before deciding to leave the Santiago Bernabeu in search of more playing time.
He moved to Real Madrid last summer for €6m, but Los Blancos retained 50% of his sell-on fee.

Greenwood spent the 2023/2024 season on loan at Getafe, where he rediscovered his form.
The forward has not played for the Red Devils since his infamous arrest in January 2022 over alleged battery.
He denied the accusations, and all charges against him were dropped after an intense investigation.
United ultimately decided against allowing him back into the team, and Greenwood was shipped out to La Liga outfit Getafe to see out the 2023/2024 season on loan.
