Bellingham, coming off a spectacular season with Real Madrid, carried his impressive form into the international stage by scoring a header in the 13th minute from Bukayo Saka's deflected cross, per The Telegraph.

After scoring, the 20-year-old executed his signature celebration, then shared a never-before-seen moment with Alexander-Arnold, both kneeling and covering their faces in a choreographed move.

The pair have been inseparable since arriving in Germany for Euro 2024, fuelling rumours of a possible move to Real Madrid for Alexander-Arnold amidst his ongoing contract negotiations with Liverpool.

Bellingham's face lit up with a broad smile as he rose to his feet, but his moment of joy wasn't over yet.

The Real Madrid star turned to the crowd and performed his signature celebration, extending his arms and basking in the cheers from the throngs of England supporters.

Bellingham explains new celebration

After the match, Bellingham revealed that his celebration was a tribute to the card game Werewolf.

The 20-year-old explained via The Mirror: "When we play Wolf, one of the staff members loves making that face when he's completely lost. That was a group celebration for the Wolf crew."

Werewolf is a strategic card game where players aim to identify and eliminate the werewolves hidden among the villagers.

Match report: England 1-0 Serbia

Sports Brief reported that Bellingham got England's Euro 2024 campaign off to a winning start but a 1-0 victory over Serbia in Gelsenkirchen failed to dispel doubts over the Three Lions' quest to become European champions for the first time.

Bellingham was in a class of his own in Gelsenkirchen as the Real Madrid midfielder's header on 13 minutes capped a fine individual display.
