England open their Euro 2024 tournament with a clash against Serbia on Sunday night.

The Three Lions are looking to open their campaign with a win as they begin their quest to end their 50-decade drought for a major trophy.

The Bayern Munich striker is coming off a superb individual Bundesliga campaign after leaving Tottenham Hotspur. Kane bagged 36 Bundesliga goals, but his team missed out on the league title. His tally was the most by a Bundesliga debutant.

Kane has broken many records in his career, including becoming England's and Tottenham Hotspur's all-time top scorer. In March 2023, he surpassed Wayne Rooney's England record.

He became Tottenham's leading scorer in February last year after passing Jimmy Greaves' record.

Record Kane will in England vs Serbia

The first record the striker will break is for the most appearances for England at the Euros. Kane and Gary Neville are tied on 11. The Bayern star will make his 12th appearance on Sunday.

Secondly, the Spurs legend will make his 23rd England appearance at a major tournament. He is tied at 22 with Ashley Cole and Raheem Sterling. Kane has played 11 World Cup matches and 11 at the Euros.

Finally, Kane will become the only player to captain the Three Lions in four major tournaments. He will surpass Steven Gerrard, David Beckham, Bobby Moore, Bryan Robson, and Billy Wright, per Sportbible.

The three-time Premier League Golden Boot winner has made 91 appearances for his country and scored 63 goals.

Harry Kane wins top prize

Sports Brief earlier reported that Harry Kane claimed the European Golden Shoe for the 2023/24 season.

The Englishman beat top stars, including Kylian Mbappe and reigning winner, Manchester City's Erling Haaland.
