Arsenal legend Ian Wright could hardly hold back his tears while paying tribute to his former teammate, Kevin Campbell.
Campbell tragically died on Saturday, June 15, aged 54, following a short illness.
According to Metro UK, the former striker spent eight seasons with the Gunners, helping them win the First Division title in 1991, the FA Cup and League Cup double in 1993, and the European Cup Winners' Cup the following year.

In an emotional post shared on Instagram, Tyrese said:
"The pain of this is indescribable and as a son you look at your dad as invincible. He is my idol, the one who I wanted to be when I grew up. He was the life and soul of every party and room he blessed, a one in a million person that was loved by everyone. A special, special person. I’ll miss you Dad."
Campbell's former teammate, Wright, was among the high-profile former footballers to pay tribute to the ex-striker when the news of his death broke.
The Englishman played alongside Campbell at Arsenal after the former's move to Highbury in 1992.
The pair went on to form one of the most lethal striking partnerships in the English topflight.

FootballWhile mourning Campbell's passing, Wright, who was visibly emotional, said on ITV:
"I can’t go to deep into it Pougs," said a visibily distraught Wright.
"It’s very fresh, I only heard it this morning. Obviously my best wishes and condolences go to his family. It’s too soon for me to talk, any time I start talking about it I start to well up. He meant the whole world to a lot of people, especially myself," he added.
