Khuliso Mudau could soon be set for a big move abroad.

The Mamelodi Sundowns defender has not only been linked with a move to Burnley, but he’s also attracted interest from Leeds United.

Should he move to the side from Elland Road, Sailor would become the fourth South African to play for the team.

Sports Brief looks at the three men from the country who represented Leeds before him.

Philemon Masinga

The former Bafana Bafana striker spent only two seasons at the English side, and failed to live up to expectations.

He joined Leeds from Mamelodi Sundowns, and made 31 appearances, scoring five goals in the process.

While his time at the side was less than stellar, he did make history by being the first black South African to play in the Premier League, The Guardian reported.

Lucas Radebe

Undoubtedly, the most famous South African to wear a Leed’s kit was the man they called Rhoo.

The former Bafana captain made 255 appearances for the side in the 10 years he spent there.

Radebe still proudly supports the side and recently wished them well ahead of their game against Southampton for the final place in the English Premier League.

David Somma

The lesser-known name on the list is Somma.

The right-winger held dual citizenship in South African and Italy, and made two appearances for Bafana Bafana.

He ended his career at Leeds, where he played 39 games and scored 13 goals, Transfermarkt noted.
