Cristiano Ronaldo is one of football's greatest goal-scorers and one of the best to have graced the UEFA European Championship in the previous five editions he has played.
The Portugal national team captain is the competition's top scorer with 14 goals and could add to that tally if he scores in his sixth and what could be his final outing at the tournament.
While Ronaldo is racking up numbers at the tournament, some top stars, both in the past and present, failed to or are yet to open their account in the competition.

Players who have never scored at Euro
1. Kylian Mbappe
According to FIFA.com, Mbappe has scored 12 World Cup goals and could retire as the all-time top scorer of the competition, but he has never found the back of the net at the European Championships. He featured for the first time in 2021 but didn't score in four games. He missed the decisive penalty that eliminated France against Switzerland.
2. Thomas Muller
Muller astoundingly, has never scored a goal at the Euro. He is entering his final tournament this year after coming out of retirement to play on home soil. He will hope to break his drought and possibly help his country to glory.

Kroos announced his professional retirement before the end of last season and played his last club game in the UEFA Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund. His final outing for Germany will be at the Euro, where he could retire as a winner and break his goal drought at the tournament.
4. Andres Iniesta
Barcelona legend Iniesta won the Euro in 2008 and 2012. According to UEFA.com, he was named the player of the tournament in 2012 but has never scored at the competition. His last outing was in 2016.
5. David Beckham
One of England's greatest-ever footballers never hit the back of the net at the European Championship. He played at two tournaments in 2000 and 2004, and unlike scoring in three consecutive World Cups, he never had that luck at the continental championship.
