Despite his billionaire status, Kaizer Chiefs chairman, Kaizer Motaung, is conspicuously absent from the list of the wealthiest black people in South Africa.

The latest chart by famous YouTuber Peniel The Black Pen ranked CAF President Motsepe and Siyabonga Gama among the wealthiest people in the country.

Motaung went from a teenager with a dream of playing football to one of the most influential figures in South Africa.

A recent report by The South African estimates Motaung's net worth to be around R1.1 billion ($60 million) as he remains one of the most successful businessmen on the continent.

Also, the current chairman of Orlando Pirates, Irvin Khoza, is also not named among the wealthiest black persons in South Africa despite his net worth of $35 million.

Khoza is also Chairman of the Premier Soccer League, but as GOAL noted, he could be stepping down from the post soon. He also has numerous businesses under his name. One of the biggest names on the list is ANC leader Cyril Ramaphosa, who is the fifth president of the country.

Valued at $450 million, Ramaphosa owns businesses and sits on the boards of numerous companies, including MTN, Bidvest, and Mondi.
