Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has claimed to know why Jurgen Klopp left Liverpool at the end of last season after nine successful years in charge.
Klopp announced in January that he would leave the club at the end of the season, with the Reds still in contention for four trophies at that time of the year.
They could only win the Carabao Cup, lost in the FA Cup and Europa League quarter-finals, and eventually finished third behind Manchester City and Arsenal on the Premier League table.
According to The Times, the Reds replaced him with Feyenoord boss Arne Slot, for whom they paid a compensation fee of £9.4 million to buy him out of his contract at the Dutch club.

Ancelotti discloses why Klopp left Liverpool
Speaking to Il Giornale, Ancelotti discussed human relationships as a key component in management, and whenever it breaks down, it is best to leave at the right time.
He commented on Klopp’s decision to leave the Merseyside club, claiming that excessive burdens were behind the German’s decision.
“I don't see any particular news, this has always been our job but the Klopp case is significant. The continuous pressure and the load of responsibilities become excessive burdens, the obsession takes over. It also happened to Arrigo Sacchi,” he said.
The former Mainz 05 manager stuck to his decision of not wanting to manage another club immediately despite interest from Barcelona.
