The former Mamelodi Sundowns manager is currently a free agent after leaving Abha Club at the end of the 2023-24 season.

In a recent interview with SABC Sport, as per the South African, Mosimane confirmed that he has a good relationship with Kaizer Chiefs and he speaks with the club anytime.

"We have a good relationship with them (Chiefs), we talk anytime – we speak on the phone," he said.

The former Al Ahly coach confirmed that there is no bad blood between him and the Soweto giants and mentioned his son playing for the Glamour Boys under-13 side.

"My boy is playing there; he is the top scorer in GDL under 13. He would not be there if there were bad blood, am I right? So, there's no problems."

The 59-year-old also commented on Amakhosi's search for a new coach and his constant connection to the job.

"It is a big club, it is a big institution. Everywhere I go, everybody would ask me. But I'm a professional; I will not use that to put Kaizer Chiefs under stress over these things; it is unfair."
