Kaizer Chiefs chairman Kaizer Motaung has been advised to consider appointing Sergio Almenara as the club's new head coach.
The Spaniard has left his role as Orlando Pirates' assistant coach after helping the team win four trophies in two seasons.
He joined the Sea Robbers alongside Jose Riveiro ahead of the 2022/23 and was a crucial member of the Spaniard’s technical team.
During his two seasons with the club, Orlando Pirates won two back-to-back MTN8 and Nedbank Cup titles, iDiski Times reports.

With Amakhosi searching for a manager to replace interim boss Cavin Johnson, a fan has urged chairman Kaizer Motaung to consider 44-year-old Almenara.
