A revamp is expected at the Naturena this summer and Kaizer Chiefs have been told to sign two Mamelodi Sundowns players during the summer transfer window.

Amakhosi are expected to witness a mass exodus in the coming weeks after the club finished 10th in the DStv Premiership in the just concluded season.

It is believed that several players are billed for an exit from Chiefs, while new ones will be signed in a bid to bolster the squad ahead of their upcoming campaign.

Former Kaizer Chiefs star, Junior Khanye, has suggested that the club bring in two impressive players from their rivals, Sundowns.

He said, as per iDiski Times:

"Some of the players I want them to sign sit, currently, at Sundowns; but Chiefs [have] money. I think they can go and get those players because, in the [PSL], most of the [Chiefs] players [are not good enough].

Among the players named were Cape Town Spurs' Ashley Cupido, as well as Sphelele Mkhulise and Sipho Mbule from Masandawana.

"Also [Jayden] Adams from Stellenbosch, and [Thabo] Moloisane from Stellies. They should build the team around those players."

Amakhosi are currently in the transfer market as they shop for a permanent manager to replace interim coach, Cavin Johnson.

Johnson was appointed to the position on an interim basis after Molefi Ntseki was sacked barely five months into his contract.

Several managers are linked with the club, including Benni McCarthy, Pitso Mosimane, and former Yanga SC coach, Nasreddine Nabi.

Pitso Mosimane speaks on next more

Sports Brief earlier reported that former Mamelodi Sundowns manager, Mosimane, spoke on his next coaching job amid links with Kaizer Chiefs.

Abha Club released the South African tactician after he failed to keep the team in the Saudi top flight with a final-day loss in the 2023-24 season.

Mosimane has long been seen as the favourite to take up the vacant role at Amakhosi, but the Soweto giants are said to be looking at Nabi instead.
