South Africa coach Hugo Broos has heaped praise on his players for a resilient display in Nigeria during their World Cup qualifiers against the Super Eagles.

The Bafana Bafana secured an important away draw in the qualifiers in Uyo to keep their 2026 FIFA World Cup hopes alive.

So, we were 20 hours on the way. And when you see the mentality in the team today, then I can only be proud about my players," he said after the game, as quoted by iDiski Times.
