Earlier, Sports Brief reported that players of the Nigeria national team, the Super Eagles have been left with the challenge of learning a new national anthem before their game against South Africa on Friday, June 7, 2024.
President of the West African national, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, signed into law a bill to revert to the country's old anthem which was dropped in 1978 by the military government.
The reversion of the old anthem has sparked social media commentary, with students, civilians and footballers taking turns to study it.
