Mauricio Pochettino has found his voice and spoken for the first time since he agreed to mutually terminate his contract with Chelsea days after the Premier League season ended.
He led the team to a sixth-place finish due to a good run of results in the latter stages of the season, despite languishing in midtable for most of the year.
Pochettino will return to Stamford Bridge again this weekend for the Soccer Aid charity match. He will coach the World XI against England, which Chelsea legend Frank Lampard will manage.
When it became clear he would leave Chelsea, the Argentine’s name was linked to several jobs, but most of them have been occupied, and his next role may not come quickly.

Sports Brief looks at four teams he could manage next.
Teams Pochettino could manage next after Chelsea exit
1. Manchester United
According to the Guardian, Erik ten Hag was due to be sacked after the FA Cup final. There had been a long silence since he beat Manchester City to win the trophy. In the event that the Dutch manager is fired, Poch is one of the names being considered. Former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is also in the running.

Football2. Tottenham Hotspur
Pochettino spent five years as Tottenham Hotspur manager and came close to winning the Premier League in 2016 and the UEFA Champions League in 2019. All seems to be well with current boss Ange Postecoglou, but his explosive rant after the 2-0 loss to Man City, per Mirror UK, is the type that gets managers fired at Spurs. If he loses his job next season, Poch could be a heavy favourite.
3. Argentina
A national team managerial career could be on the cards for the 52-year-old, and it could be with his country, Argentina. Lionel Scaloni has a contract until the end of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, but recent issues with Chiqui Tapia could see him leave at the end of the 2024 Copa America.
4. England
Gareth Southgate is in a hot seat ahead of Euro 2024, and winning the trophy could be the only thing that guarantees his stay as England boss. A few options are rumoured to be lined up for the job, and if a foreigner is to be considered, then the former Paris Saint-Germain boss could have a job.
