Manchester United midfielder Casemiro has announced a new venture just weeks after the 2023/2024 Premier League season ended.

After a promising first season at Old Trafford, the tides turned for Casemiro last season, with the Brazilian coming under intense scrutiny over his performances.

Per Transfermarkt, the 32-year-old made 32 appearances for Erik ten Hag’s side last season, including 25 in the Premier League as the Red Devils finished in a lowly eighth place on the log.

With the season now over, the former Real Madrid man has ‘signed’ for a new club and was recently announced as the director and shareholder at Spanish outfit Marbella FC.

Since taking up his new role, photos have emerged of Casemiro holding a shirt belonging to the fourth-tier side.

“It is an honour for me to join Marbella Football Club because my biggest motivation is the spectacular possibilities for growth of the club,” the midfielder wrote on Instagram.
“I have been to Marbella with my family on several occasions and both my children, my wife and I are in love with this city, with which we want to be connected for life.”

Casemiro’s Manchester United future

Regarding his future at Old Trafford, it is looking more likely that Casemiro will not be part of the squad next season.

There were signs that all was not well when he was left out of the FA Cup final squad to face Manchester City on Saturday, May 25. United won that game 2-1.

According to Manchester Evening News, Al-Nassr remains a plausible destination for the midfielder, with the Saudi club reportedly ready to offer around £76-85 million for his services.

Amrabat’s brother speaks on Casemiro

Sports Brief also reported what Sofyan Amrabat’s brother Nordin Amrabat said about Casemiro after the FA Cup final.

Sofyan, the younger of the two brothers, started ahead of the Real Madrid legend and excelled as the Red Devils won the FA Cup.

After the match, it was disclosed that Casemiro was not fully fit for the encounter, and questions arose about his availability.
