Moroccan international, Brahim Diaz, has reacted to Kylian Mbappe's comments after joining Real Madrid on a free transfer yesterday (June 3).

The France international has been a target for the Spanish giants for nearly four years and finally completed his move to the European champions.

After the UEFA Champions League winners announced the arrival of the French star, football stars and fans shared their views on the transfer.

Diaz took to his official handle on X (formerly Twitter) to join other Real Madrid players in welcoming the former Monaco star to the club.

"Welcome to the best club in the world," the former Manchester City star said, tagging his new teammate's handle.

Mbappe's reaction after signing for Real Madrid

Mbappe, meanwhile, shared his excitement at joining Los Blancos and posted his reaction on his official handle on X.

The post was translated as follows:

"A dream come true, So happy and proud to join the club of my dream [Real Madrid]. Nobody can understand how excited I am right now. I can't wait to see you, Madridistas, and thanks for your unbelievable support. ¡Hala Madrid!"

Diaz will be hoping to replicate his performance for Real Madrid this season in the next campaign, when he would be playing alongside Mbappe.

However, he could see his playing time reduced with the arrival of the France international.

Ex-Barca star claims Madrid don't need Mbappe

Sports Brief also previously reported that former Barcelona star, Thierry Henry, has characterised Real Madrid's signings of Mbappe and Endrick as luxury purchases.

Just as they did with the signing of Vinicius and Rodrygo, the White Angels stole a march to secure the services of the Brazilian, who will join after the next Copa America.

Offering his viewpoint on these potential transfers, Henry believes that while Mbappe and Endrick are certainly top-tier talents, Real Madrid did not truly need the duo.
