Ronaldo is now said to have embarked on an elaborate plan to help Al Nassr land some of the club's top targets.

The Portugal international is believed to have contacted two of his former teammates to join him in Riyadh.

SPORTbible reports that this comes in the wake of Al Nassr's defeat in the King's Cup final, where they lost to rivals Al Hilal.

Ronaldo's wants his former teammates at Al Nassr

According to Marca, the 39-year-old has contacted Manchester United midfielder Casemiro and Real Madrid's Nacho to link up with him.

Both players are currently facing uncertain futures at their respective clubs.

Nacho, who recently won the 2024 Champions League title at Wembley Stadium, has his deal with Real set to expire in the summer.

While the 34-year-old has been linked to the MLS, Ronaldo is said to be keen to have him move to the Middle East.

Casemiro, meanwhile, remains the subject of an intense transfer speculation after an underwhelming season with the Red Devils.

The veteran midfielder has previously been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, with United keen to cut ties with him due to his mammoth wages.
