Real Madrid superstar, Vinicius Junior, has opened up about his future after helping his side clinch yet another UEFA Champions League title.
The Brazilian winger played an integral role in helping Los Blancos beat Borussia Dortmund 2-0 at the fabled Wembley Stadium on Saturday, June 1.
A rather toothless performance from the Spanish champions saw Dortmund create better goal-scoring opportunities than Madrid, who failed to muster a shot on target in the first half and should have shot into the lead on a couple of occasions.
However, a completely different-looking side came out from the dugout after recess and just as they have done all throughout the competition, turned the game on its head with two decisive moments.

Vinicius inspires Madrid to 15th UCL title
First, defender Dani Carvajal met Toni Kroos' corner kick with a glancing header for the opening goal before Vinicius sealed the win with a well-taken goal from inside the box.
It was the second time the Flamengo youth product was scoring in a UCL final for Real Madrid, after scoring the match-winner against Liverpool in the 2022 grand finale.
His strike against the Black and Yellows brought his tally in the Champions League for the 2023–24 season to six strikes, while he reached 24 goals overall in all competitions, per Transfermarkt, his most prolific season yet.

FootballWhen quizzed about his future, the 23-year-old stated with unmitigated certainty his decision to stay in the Spanish capital 'forever' while urging his employers to extend his current contract.
“I want to stay here forever. I hope Florentino sees this interview and renews my contract again,” he said, as cited by MadridXtra.
Benzema supports Vini Jr to win Ballon d'Or
In a previous publication, Sports Brief reported that Real Madrid legend, Karim Benzema, has revealed his pick for the 2024 Ballon d'Or winner.
As the competition for this esteemed accolade intensifies, multiple players are in contention for the top honour.
Although Jude Bellingham is widely regarded as a leading candidate after an outstanding debut season at Santiago Bernabeu, Benzema has thrown his support behind Vinicius Junior instead.
