Al-Hilal beat Al-Nassr 5-4 on penalties after a chaotic 120 minutes, during which the eventual champions received two red cards, while the yellow side also received a red.

The loss denied Ronaldo the opportunity to win his first major silverware in the Saudi Pro League. He had been with Al-Nassr since January 2023, when his Manchester United contract was terminated.

Ronaldo performs sujud and cross sign
Ronaldo took the second penalty, which appears unusual as he'd typically take the fifth penalty, but after former Manchester United teammate Alex Telles missed, he stepped up.
Ali Al-Hassan had the opportunity to win it for Al-Nassr after Saud Abdulhamid failed to score for Al-Hilal but missed, and at this point, that Portuguese forward was tensed in the centre circle.
As spotted in a video on social media, he fell to his knees and did the cross sign before performing the sujud, the Islamic customary way of observing prayers.
The former Real Madrid star was born and raised a Roman Catholic.
