Neymar Junior could not hold back his joy following Al-Hilal's triumph over Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr in the Saudi King's Cup final on Friday night.

The 32-year-old, who joined the bandwagon of A-list football players who moved to the Gulf country last summer, fused with his teammates during their celebrations.

While injury forced him to miss a staggering 48 games in the just-ended campaign, per Transfermarkt, it did not stop Neymar from basking in his teammates' glory.

Neymar watches as Al-Hilal beats Al-Nassr

Stationed in the VIP section of the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, the former FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain superstar watched on as his Hilal colleagues battled with Ronaldo's Al-Nassr.

He was filled with joy seven minutes into the game when Aleksandar Mitrovic broke the deadlock with a header, connecting from a Malcom cross, per Daily Sports.

However, for the remainder of the second half, the Brazilian was on tenterhooks as the Knights of Najd piled pressure on Hilal, which resulted in Ayman Yahya's equaliser with three minutes left on the clock.

The Saudi League champions will hold on despite being down to nine men, pushing the game to extra time and eventually post-match penalty shootouts.

Despite missing the first kick, coach Jorge Jesus' side will rally back to claim a 5-4 win on sudden death to secure their third trophy of the campaign.

After victory was sealed, Neymar rushed from the stands to join his colleagues in celebrating their Saudi King's Cup feat on the pitch.

Ronaldo in tears after King's Cup defeat

In a rather contrasting moment, as Sports Brief reported, Cristiano Ronaldo was left in tears after Al-Nassr's heartbreaking defeat to Al-Hilal in the King's Cup final.

After the game, CR7 was left in an emotional state; failing to hold back his tears, the 39-year-old broke down as he was consoled by teammates and the technical staff of Al-Nassr.
