Kaizer Chiefs star Edmilson Dove is already in a relaxed mood as the Mozambican international was spotted spending quality time with his beautiful daughter.

The 29-year-old, who had a relatively fair season with Amakhosi, was captured in his 'daddy moments' days after the 2023/2024 season ended.

Dove missed Chiefs' final league game of the season against Cape Town Spurs, but soon after the encounter, he shared a picture of himself and his little princess.

The defender accompanied the photo with the caption:

“A bond like no other. Unconditional love.”

His followers also took to the comment section to applaud the star, who now turns his attention to the forthcoming World Cup qualifiers. One said:

"Beautiful moment, big man."

Another added:

"Daddy's little princess."

A fan wrote:

"Awwww! This is so perfect."

Mozambique will take on Somalia and Guinea next month as the qualifiers for the 2026 edition of the FIFA World Cup returns.

Dove, who earned his first national team call-up in 2015, has made 32 international appearances for the Mambas so far.

On the other hand, Kaizer Chiefs finished the DStv Premiership season in 10th place, leaving many former players asking endless questions.

Ex-defender Nhlanhla Kubheka suggested that a total overhaul is expected ahead of next season, especially in the technical area where a new permanent manager is 'needed'.

Kubheka said via The South African:

“There are a lot of issues that need to be rectified at Chiefs. They need a new coach who is going to be able to inspire the players on the day, during the week and throughout the season,” Kubheka said via Sowetan.
“Unfortunately, the current coach (Cavin Johnson), I don’t think he has those attributes or credibility to inspire Chiefs as a whole and bring change to the team."

Oswin Appollis on Kaizer Chiefs' radar

Sports Brief earlier reported that Kaizer Chiefs are ready to engage PSL rivals AmaZulu FC in a summer transfer battle for Polokwane City star Oswin Appollis' signature.

The South African forward had a good season with Polokwane City in the 2023-24 DStv Premiership, scoring seven goals alongside five assists in 31 appearances as Rise and Shine finished above the Glamour Boys.

The 22-year-old is not expected to leave the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium this summer as he still has two more years on his contract with Polokwane.
