Boniface missed out on the opportunity to represent Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations due to injury, but he's back to the team after recovering.

2. Ademola Lookman
The former Leicester City forward is one of the players being looked upon to turn up for the Super Eagles against South Africa and Benin after his heroic performance against Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA Europa League final.
The Atalanta forward proved to be a dependable player even with Osimhen present at the 2023 AFCON, and he's expected to do the same in the Napoli striker's absence.
3. Kelechi Iheanacho
The former Manchester City forward is another attacker who is capable of leading the team in their next World Cup qualifying games.
