Mainoo, who has been a rare bright spot in an otherwise tumultuous season for United, notched the match-winning goal after Alejandro Garnacho opened the scoring in their 2-1 win, per Eurosport.

Following his Man of the Match display in the final, the English midfielder continued to impress off the pitch with a heartwarming gesture in the dressing room, where he looked out for his teammate Amad Diallo.

How Mainoo saved Amad Diallo from 'sin'?

The Englishman's composed performance on the pitch belied his age, and his actions in the dressing room reflected a similar maturity.

As Marcus Rashford started spraying champagne at his teammates, who were posing for a photo with the FA Cup trophy, Mainoo swiftly pulled Amad Diallo out of the way, per the Express.

Amad, a practising Muslim, adheres to strict rules regarding alcohol consumption.

But Kobbie's quick thinking spared him from an awkward situation, while the rest of the United squad were soaked in celebratory champagne.
