Abha Club of Saudi manager Pitso Mosimane has stated that his emotions would not come into play when it is time to decide his next move.

The tactician is one of the front-runners for the Kaizer Chiefs job, but he has insisted on 'total business' when accepting a new offer.

Pitso, who has been heavily linked to the Naturena job, also stated that nothing was off the table at the moment.

According to him, all business elements would need to be considered before he decides whether to join Amakhosi.

He emphasised that the DStv Premiership outfit would have to show him their proper future plan before he could consider their offer.

Mosimane said, via The South African:

"The issue is what are their short and long-term plans. It is like in business, it works like that. But we are also businesspeople, and also this is a career, make no mistake.
"There must be a proper plan and a proper vision, to say ‘do you want this?’ I can coach any team, in the country, in Africa, in the gulf, the US, Europe, but it has to be proper."

The manager also believes he can turn things around at the club if he becomes head coach.

He stated that he would end the Kaizer Chiefs' trophy drought, as the club has now gone eight years without silverware.

Kaizer Chiefs are expected to name a new permanent manager in the coming weeks, as the club aims to rebuild after another disappointing and trophyless season.

Abha Club boost Saudi League survival chances

Sports Brief earlier reported that Abha Club significantly boosted their SPL survival with a crucial 2-1 victory against Al Khaleej on May 23.

Mosimane's team, embroiled in a heated relegation battle, dug deep to push themselves out of the drop zone ahead of the final round of games.

The South African tactician was brought in by the Saudi Pro League minnows to help them avoid falling down to the country's lower-tier league.
