Chelsea have reportedly added a former Premier League manager to their shortlist of candidates to take charge at the club.
The Blues are in the market for a new manager after the departure of Mauricio Pochettino from Stamford Bridge last week.
Pochettino quit the West London club after just a season in charge, a mixed run of form and results that saw them finish sixth in the Premier League standings.
According to Goal, Chelsea already have a long list of candidates they are considering for the Stamford Bridge job.

Brentford manager Thomas Frank, Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna, and Leicester's Enzo Maresca are all thought to be in the running for the Chelsea hot seat.
De Zerbi on Chelsea's shortlist
According to Sky Sports, De Zerbi is the latest name to be added to Chelsea's list of considerations. Like Pochettino, the Italian also lost his job at Brighton last Tuesday.
The Seagulls parted company with him despite an impressive spell that saw him lead the club to an 11th-place finish in the Premier League.
While the Blues were expected to find Pochettino's replacement within days, an appointment is taking longer than initially anticipated.
The 2021 UEFA Champions League winners have already made it clear that they are hunting for a relatively younger manager.
De Zerbi is one of those managers who fits this requirement and would undoubtedly be a frontrunner for the job. The 44-year-old has previously managed Shakhtar Donetsk and Sassuolo.
