English Premier League legend, Alan Shearer, has shared his thoughts on Ademola Lookman's heroic performance against Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA Europa League final.
The Super Eagles scored a hat-trick to end the Bundesliga champions' unbeaten run in all competitions as Atalanta claimed a deserving 3-0 win at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin, on Wednesday, May 22.
The Nigerian international set a new record with a first-half brace and etched his name on the history books as he completed his treble in the second half.
According to a report by Complete Sports, legendary England striker Shearer took to his official handle on X (formerly Twitter) to comment on Lookman's performance and Atalanta's win over Leverkusen.

"Atalanta brilliant again tonight. Lookman wow, what a hat-trick," he said.
It was Atalanta's first-ever European title, with Lookman and his manager Gian Piero Gasperini making history.
The former Leicester City winger became the first player to score a hat-trick in the Europa League final. At the same time, Gasperini also became the oldest manager to win the competition at 66, breaking the record set by Jose Luis Mendilibar last season with Sevilla.
