Mamelodi Sundowns head coach, Rulani Mokwena, has chosen not to engage further in the ongoing controversy surrounding TS Galaxy, despite the heated rivalry between the two teams.
Following a 1-1 draw in their recent DSTv Premiership clash, tensions boiled over, leading to police intervention to separate the coaching staff.
Over the past few months, there has been a widely publicized war of words between Galaxy coach, Sead Ramović, and Mokwena.
This heated rivalry was evident on the pitch, with both sides trading accusations and complaints about the officiating and each other's conduct.

In the post-match press conference, Mokwena expressed his frustration with the game, stating that several key decisions went against his team, including penalty claims for Tashreeq Matthews and Siyabonga Mabena. He described the match as the worst he had been involved in.
"There’s not much to say about the game, I’m not involved in football for these types of matches, so I don’t want to speak too much about the match. I don't want to talk about anything. They have taken it to court, so let's meet in court," he said, as quoted by iDiski Times.
Per SABC Sport, tensions between the two clubs escalated off the field, with the Rockets confirming that they had approached the high court regarding Mokwena's alleged defamatory comments about the German tactician.
The Mpumalanga-based club had threatened legal action unless the Sundowns coach apologized and withdrew his comments, and they have now followed through on their promise.
