Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has had the privilege of playing alongside some of the best football players in the game's history.
Being a modern legend himself, Henry is never afraid to give credit where credit is due. He, however, left the footballing world in awe in 2015 when he named a former Arsenal man the best player he had played alongside.
Never mind the fact that Henry has experienced football with names such as Lionel Messi, Zinedine Zidane and even the great Ronaldinho.
When Henry singled out an Arsenal legend
During a Facebook Q&A session, Henry, who had retired from the game a year prior, was asked to name the most talented player he played with.

Interestingly, the Frenchman overlooked many ‘freaks’ of the game to name Dutch international Dennis Bergkamp as the greatest player in his eyes.
Justifying his pick, Henry said, per Bleacher Report:
"Because of longevity, and because I saw him every day in training for seven years, Dennis Bergkamp," Henry revealed. "Because he was always doing what the game was asking him to do."
The Henry-Bergkamp partnership
By the time Henry joined Arsenal in 1999, Bergkamp, nine years his senior, had been with the North London club for four years.
At the time, Henry was an upcoming young prospect from Juventus while his Dutch teammate was in his prime. The pair played together until Bergkamp’s retirement in 2006.
Who are the top 10 ranked Juventus legends of all time?
FootballAccording to GMS, the duo won the Premier League twice and lifted the FA Cup three times.
"I respected him a lot for that but also the way he trained," Henry continued. "The way he used to train was just not normal. The guy didn't want to lose the ball; he would foul you, get in your face. He wants to be first in the run."
Bergkamp, who mainly played as an attacking midfielder, is largely remembered for one of the most iconic Premier League goals against Newcastle United.
Henry’s GOAT French player
Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Thierry Henry’s pick for the greatest Frenchman of all time.
Despite being a talented player, the Arsenal legend snubbed himself, instead naming another legendary Frenchman, who won the World Cup in 1998.
