RB Leipzig star, Yussuf Poulsen, has shared his insights on how Borussia Dortmund can pull off an upset against Real Madrid in this season's UEFA Champions League final.
The Germans will face Los Blancos at Wembley, vying for the title of European champions in a game in which bookmakers consider them overwhelming underdogs.
Madrid, on the other hand, will be playing in their 18th final, aiming for a record-extending 15th crown. According to Besoccer, their last defeat in a UCL final came against Liverpool in the 1980–81 season.
In contrast, the Bundesliga side will be playing in only their third final in the competition's history. Their sole victory came in 1997 against a star-studded Juventus side.

Since that triumph nearly three decades ago, Dortmund's closest attempt to winning Europe's premier club competition was in 2013, when they narrowly lost to Bayern Munich.
Nevertheless, Edin Terzic's men will not be intimidated by Madrid's formidable reputation, having already upset a Kylian Mbappe-led Paris Saint-Germain side across two legs in the semi-final.
How can Dortmund beat Madrid in the final?
Ahead of the highly anticipated clash on June 1, Poulsen offered strategic advice on how Dortmund can halt the Real Madrid juggernaut on a European night.
He emphasised the importance of efficiency in the Bundesliga side's gameplay.
The Danish forward, who faced Madrid in the Round of 16, highlighted that Ancelotti's charges are unlikely to offer many scoring opportunities, so Dortmund must capitalise on any chances that arise.

Football“Dortmund has to be, first and foremost, efficient. They may not have many chances. But the key will be not to let Madrid’s quality players have chances,” he was quoted by Mundo Deportivo.
He also underlined that the Bundesliga side should replicate the tactics they successfully employed against PSG in the semi-final.
“You have to stop their game-changers. If you see how Dortmund played against Paris, they are absolutely capable of defending well against Real.”
Kroos warns Madrid ahead of Dortmund final
In an earlier publication, Sports Brief reported that Toni Kroos issued a warning to Real Madrid as they prepare for the Champions League final against Dortmund.
Despite his team's rich history in the competition, Kroos, who announced his retirement on Tuesday, May 21, feels the German side must not be underestimated.
With the final approaching, the veteran, who has five UCL titles to his name, stressed the importance of his Real Madrid team respecting their opponents.
