English and Manchester United goalkeeper Nathan Bishop has been hailed by Portugal international and club's teammate Bruno Fernandes after signing new deal.
Bishop Nathan actually joined the Red Devils from Southend in January 2020 and has already caught the eye of Old Trafford coaching crew under Ole Solskjaer.
Manchester United have handed the English goalkeeper improved terms in a contract which runs until 2023 with the option to extend for another year.
Nathan Bishop has played for Manchester United's Under 21 team, but the 21-year-old is yet to play for first team at Old Trafford.
Reacting to Bishop's Instagram story sharing the news of his new deal, Fernandes wrote according to the report on Mirror: "Well deserved, kid! Top lad and amazing professional,"
Bishop was born in Hillingdon, Greater London and joined Southend United at a young age and first appeared in the first-team squad towards the end of the 2016–17 campaign.
Bruno Fernandes on the other hand joined Manchester United from Sporting Lisbon and the Portuguese has been superb since he made the move to Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are currently occupying second position on the Premier League table with a game in hand and behind Liverpool on the standings.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan sent a strong warning to Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer over Frenchman Anthony Martial.
The former Palace boss suggests to the manager that Martial is not good enough for the Red Devils, claiming that the forward could get him fired at the Old Trafford.
Since taking the United job permanently in 2019, Solskjaer has continued to be under pressure, but he could see his side go top of the Premier League standings with, at least, a draw when they take on Burnley on Tuesday night, January 12.

FootballAnd despite United’s recent improvement, Jordan who has been a vocal critic of the United manager has stated that the tactician’s job is far from safe and that it is only a matter of time if he continues to have Martial in the squad.
