Jeremie Frimpong celebrated Bayer Leverkusen's Bundesliga triumph in style after gifting each member of the team a customised 'championship' ring.

The ring is said to commemorate the club's 120-year existence, adding to the record made by going through the campaign without losing a game.

Leverkusen were officially crowned champions of Germany on the final day of the season, with players and staff receiving medals and the trophy.

In photos shared on social media, the rings Frimpong gifted were shown to bear the club emblem and many diamonds, along with an engraving of each player's name.

The Dutch-Ghanaian was an integral member of the championship-winning team, scoring nine goals and providing nine assists in the Bundesliga, per Transfermarkt.

Leverkusen became champions for the first time in the club's history after beating Werder Bremen 5-0 on April 14, before going on to become the first club in Germany to finish the season without a loss.

The BayArena outfit has shifted its attention to the final two games of the game, where they could complete an unprecedented treble if they claim victory in the DFB-Pokal and Europa League finals.

Frimpong shares dance with mother

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Leverkusen defender, Frimpong and his mother celebrated his triumph by hitting the dance floor after the final game of the season.

The Dutch-born Ghanaian invited his family to Germany for the Bundesliga title coronation as the newly-crowned German champions ended the campaign unbeaten.

Frimpong started the game as Leverkusen defeated Augsburg 2-1 at the BayArena on Saturday, May 18, to finish a historic campaign without recording a single loss.

Frimpong and Tella dance to Ghanaian music

Sports Brief also reported that Frimpong and Nathan Tella celebrated Leverkusen's title win by dancing to a popular Ghanaian song.

The duo starred for Die Werkself as the club won its first-ever Bundesliga title on Sunday after beating Werder Bremen at the BayArena.

Celebrations among the Bayer Leverkusen team have continued as the team chase the DFB-Pokal and Europa League titles this season.
