Richarlison’s subtle dig at Arsenal
Amid different reactions on social media to Arsenal’s close shave with the title, Richarlison appeared to rejoice that his team’s North London rivals were ending the season trophy-less.
According to BBC, Spurs secured fifth place on Sunday with a 3-0 win over relegated Sheffield United in a game in which Dejan Kulusevski scored twice.
Richarlison missed the game through injury, but the Brazilian wasted no time going on social media after the final round of matches.
He shared a video of a child crying before bursting into laughter. Richarlison captioned the photo with a grinning face emoji.
From the outside, the post suggested Richarlison was distraught that Arsenal finished the season above Tottenham but was delighted the Gunners lost in the title race.
