Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, was seething with frustration as his team conceded a mesmerising goal by Mohammed Kudus in their Premier League clash on May 19.

After quickly establishing a 2-0 lead within the first 18 minutes of the match against West Ham United, Guardiola's squad seemed on track for their fourth Premier League title.

However, their momentum was sharply interrupted just before half-time when Kudus scored a spectacular acrobatic goal, cutting City's lead in half, per Citi Sports.

Mohammed Kudus nets insane acrobatic goal

The Ghanaian midfielder, enjoying an exceptional season in the English top flight, displayed individual brilliance as he capitalised on a loose ball from a corner kick, executing a bicycle kick to find the back of the net.

Unfortunately for the 23-year-old, his goal could not spur the Hammers to an unlikely upset as Rodri restored City's two-goal cushion in the second half to help Guardiola's men seal a fourth EPL crown in a row.

While his goal might be inconsequential in the grand scheme of events, Kudus ended his impressive debut season with eight goals and six assists in the Premier League, per Transfermarkt.

Guardiola angrily reacts to Kudus' stunning goal

Meanwhile, Guardiola's visible frustration was evident as he reacted angrily to Kudus' stunning strike by smashing his water bottle to the ground.

Pep Guardiola wary about Kudus's threat

Sports Brief had previously reported that Guardiola had acknowledged the threat posed by Mohammed Kudus and West Ham's potent attacking line-up.

He cautioned against the danger presented by Lucas Paqueta and Jarrod Bowen but also singled out the Ghanaian international as an outstanding player.

Kudus earned recognition by winning West Ham's Goal of the Season award for his great solo effort against Freiburg during the Europa League Round of 16.

Is Guardiola leaving Man City next season?

Following their unprecedented fourth consecutive Premier League title, Guardiola discussed his Manchester City future, as reported by Sports Brief.

Despite speculation, the 53-year-old manager has affirmed his commitment to the Etihad Stadium team but also left a door open about his future plans.
