A La Liga match between Getafe and Laaves had to be suspended temporarily after chants were aimed at Mason Greenwood during the game at the Mendizorrotza Stadium on May 18.
Greenwood has received a mixed reception all season after he chose to move to Spain after his charges were dropped by the Crown Prosecution Services last year.
The Manchester United forward had been accused of sexual assault, which led to the club suspending him from any first-team action pending the verdict of that case.
The Red Devils opted to send him to Getafe on loan, where he settled in well. He has chipped in with eight goals and six assists to put Getafe on the verge of a top-half finish if they win their last game. They have, however, lost their four successive games in the league.

Why was Alaves vs Getafe suspended?
While he has been warmly received at the Coliseum, the 22-year-old has been booed at other grounds with the Alaves home crowd chanting 'Greenwood die'.
The Mirror reports that referee Jorge Figueroa Vazquez suspended the match in the 18th minute, with the stadium announcer stepping in to warn the crown against those chants.
The game restarted after the chants receded, with Alaves leapfrogging Getafe to 10th place on the table with a 1-0 win thanks to an early Carlos Vicente goal.
Getafe's last game of the season will be against Mallorca on May 25.
Greenwood could move to Saudi Arabia
At the same time, Sports Brief has reported that Greenwood is on Saudi Pro's league radar in the upcoming transfer window.
The England international's future remains uncertain, with a Manchester United return unlikely despite still having a running contract until the end of next season.
Reports indicate that the fast-rising Middle Eastern nation could make the forward their next high-profile signing after the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, and Sadio Mane.
