African legends such as Didier Drogba, Austin Okocha, Samuel Eto’o, Nwankwo Kanu, and Michael Essien have all had successful stints in the Premier League, leaving a last legacy in the highly-rated league.

According to Khel Now, Algerian winger, Riyad Mahrez, is the most decorated African player in the Premier League as the former Manchester City star has won five EPL titles during his stint in England.

Mahrez won his first EPL title in Leicester City’s fairytale run in 2016 before joining the Citizens a year later when he added four more trophies to his collection to cement his legacy in the league.

Kanu spent five years at Arsenal and is regarded as one of the greatest African players to play in the Premier League.

4. Lauren – 2 EPL titles

Lauren was another player who contributed significantly to Arsenal's amazing team, which won the Premier League twice in three years.

The Cameroonian defender won the Premier League title in 2001-02, as well as in 2003-04, and is still regarded highly in England, as one of the ‘invincibles’.

3. Yaya Toure - 3 EPL titles

Yaya Toure, widely regarded as one of the Premier League's greatest-ever midfielders, is unquestionably one of the most decorated African footballers.
