Erling Haaland has delivered a concise yet potent message to Arsenal as Manchester City edges closer to securing another Premier League title.

Following their victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday night, City find themselves on the brink of an unprecedented fourth consecutive league triumph.

Haaland's brace against the Lilywhites propelled the defending champions to the top of the league standings, usurping the Gunners in the process, ahead of the season's final round of fixtures, Sky Sports reports.

With a two-point lead over their closest rivals, City's path to the title appears clear. A positive result against West Ham United on Sunday would secure their status as champions once again.

Erling Haaland's 3-word warning

As Pep Guardiola's men maintain their focus on clinching the title, Arsenal will be hoping for any potential slip-ups while also aiming to secure victory in their final match against Everton.

In anticipation of the final round of games, Haaland's succinct message reminds their competitors that the Sky Blues remain steadfast in their pursuit of glory.

"Job's not finished," the 23-year-old wrote on the X App accompanied by a fist emoji.

Meanwhile, the former Borussia Dortmund striker is also pursuing personal accolades.

Erling aims to secure a second successive Golden Boot award and currently leads the top scorers' chart with 27 goals, six ahead of his closest rival, Cole Palmer, per the BBC.

What happens next if Arsenal, City are deadlocked?

Given the intensity of this season's Premier League title race, it's conceivable that Arsenal and Manchester City could finish the campaign with equal points and goal differences.

Suppose the Gunners secure a victory in their last match against Everton on May 19, accumulating 89 points. If City end up with the same points due to a draw against West Ham United, they, too, will reach 89 points.

In such a scenario, the Premier League title race could be determined by four potential criteria, each providing a different measure for deciding the winner, as reported by Sports Brief.
