Popular Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, widely known by his stage name Portable, has found himself at the centre of another controversy.
The entertainer, known for his penchant for making headlines, was arrested by the Lagos State Police Command on Tuesday, May 14, for allegedly refusing to pay the outstanding balance on a G-Wagon vehicle he had purchased.
According to reports, Portable had bought a G-Wagon worth 27 million naira but had only paid 13 million naira, claiming the car was faulty.

The arrest was not without its dramatic moments. A video showed Portable attempting to jump a gate to avoid being detained. Another footage captured the singer being carried by the officers after he tried to flee, with Portable twirling his body in a seemingly desperate attempt to evade capture.
This incident follows Portable's previous controversies, which have earned him a reputation as a "troublemaker" in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
However, the singer has also gained popularity for his unique musical style and collaborations with prominent figures, such as his recent encounter with former Arsenal and Real Madrid striker, Emmanuel Adebayor.
As reported by Legit Nigeria, during his meeting with Adebayor, Portable highlighted his "grace" that has been working with him from Nigeria and even got the footballer to participate in his signature "kala" shoulder-raising move.
