But in the 87th minute, Belgian born Kenyan Divock Origi blasted home the second goal of the match to see Liverpool establish a comfortable lead.

Five minutes of extra minutes were played at the end of the 90 minutes, but no other was scored at the blast of the final whistle.
The result ensured Liverpool were crowned European Champions for a sixth time at the expense of Tottenham.
