After Manchester City secured a convincing 4-0 victory over Fulham, temporarily surpassing Arsenal in the league standings, Mikel Arteta's side responded with a hard-fought 1-0 win against Manchester United, reclaiming the top spot, Eurosport reports.

With Arsenal currently leading the league, a victory for the Citizens on Tuesday would see them regain the top position with a two-point lead, placing them in pole position to clinch an unprecedented four successive EPL trophies.

However, a Tottenham team whose aspirations for a Champions League spot hang in the balance is standing in Man City's path.

The outcome of this crucial match could have significant implications for the title race.

Havertz pledges support for Tottenham

In light of his pivotal role in Arsenal's recent victory over the struggling Red Devils, where he provided the crucial assist for the winning goal, Havertz has pledged his support to Tottenham for obvious reasons.

“I'm going to be the biggest fan of Tottenham ever on Tuesday. We all are going to be!” he told Sky Sports, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.

As the title race intensifies, Havertz's allegiance to Arsenal's North London rivals highlights the magnitude of the upcoming clash and its potential impact on the destiny of the Premier League trophy.

Saka picks United's OT as favourite venue

Sports Brief also reported that Havertz's Arsenal teammate, Bukayo Saka, has openly declared Old Trafford as his favourite stadium to play in, gracefully sidelining his team's home ground, the Emirates.

The England star reminisced about his childhood spent watching football at the iconic venue.

Saka nostalgically expressed his admiration for the stadium, citing memorable moments witnessed both in the Premier League and Champions League.
