Real Madrid hotshot Jude Bellingham has named the player he believes is 'the best in the world' right.

Bellingham himself is a strong contender for the award following a dream start to life at Santiago Bernabeu.

The England international has been impressive since he sealed a dream move to Real Madrid last summer from Borussia Dortmund.

According to WhoScored, a stats site, the 20-year-old has scored 22 goals and bagged a further nine assists across competitions for the Spanish giants.

Eighteen of those goals have come in La Liga, with the haul helping Los Blancos lift the Spanish top-flight title this season.

Bellingham names the best player in the world

While many regard the former Dortmund star as the best in the world, the midfielder believes that crown belongs to Vinicius Jr.

Bellingham made the declaration during Real's La Liga trophy parade.

"Thank you for your support and your affection this season. One more big game at Wembley, and we're going to win. Come on Madrid!" He said via ESPN, per Sportskeeda.
“Vinicius is the best in the world," he added.

Bellingham's declaration comes at a time when Vini has laid a strong claim on the Ballon d'Or award.

The Brazilian ace has played a key part in Real's successful La Liga and Champions League campaigns.
