Cristiano Ronaldo superfan, Darren Jason Watkins Jr, also known as iShowSpeed, has cast doubt on Kylian Mbappe's reported transfer to Real Madrid.

The American YouTuber, renowned for his unwavering support for CR7, made his bold transfer claim following Mbappe's announcement of his departure from Paris Saint-Germain.

Will Kylian Mbappe join Real Madrid after leaving PSG?

According to the BBC, Mbappe revealed his decision to leave the French capital on Friday, May 10, through a social media post, sparking speculation about his imminent move to Real Madrid.

Although the 25-year-old did not specify his next destination, he disclosed that his final home game for PSG would be against Toulouse on Sunday, May 12, with the French Cup final against Olympique Lyon marking his last appearance in a PSG jersey.

Following Mbappe's announcement, transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano hinted on social media that the Frenchman's transfer to Madrid was nearly finalised.

iShowSpeed claims Mbappe is not joining Real Madrid

However, Speed offered a contrasting viewpoint, using his own 'Here We Go' transfer news platform to refute Romano's claims about Mbappe joining Madrid in the summer.

"Mbappe is not going to Madrid trust me," he declared on his X account.

Fans react to Speed's transfer claim

Speed's post on the micro-blogging App quickly garnered a lot of reaction, with many making fun of his bold declaration.

@Princeflexzy0 wrote:

"Why should I trust someone who can’t pronounce Mbappe?"

@sech28 suggested Mbappe will be joining Borussia Dortmund instead:

"He is going to BVB lil bra."

An excited Arsenal fan, @iam_Reedone, said:

"He's coming to Arsenal."

On the other hand, @Jnrr_M, a Real Madrid fan, did not take Speed's statement lightly:

"He’s already a Real Madrid player, CRY."

@bilalssk21 aimed a subtle dig at Speed, questioning his source:

"Source: TRUST ME BROTHER."

PSG boss speaks about life after Mbappe

Meanwhile, Sports Brief reported that PSG manager, Luis Enrique, expressed confidence in his team's ability to emerge "stronger" despite Kylian Mbappe's anticipated departure next season.

Contrary to concerns about PSG's potential decline without Mbappe, Enrique holds an optimistic view.

The former FC Barcelona coach believes that his side will not only cope but also enhance their performance without their talismanic forward in the upcoming season.
