Cole Palmer has shared a message he sent to Eden Hazard in 2015 after he won the Premier League Player of the Month award on May 10.
The Chelsea forward's efforts were recognised after a brilliant haul in April that saw him score seven goals in the Premier League - four against Everton and a hat trick against Manchester United.
He became the first Chelsea player to win the award since Hazard won it in September 2018. After winning it, the English star took to Instagram and shared an old message he sent to the Chelsea legend, saying,
"You're the best player in the world."

Eden Hazard's time at Chelsea
Hazard exited Chelsea in 2019 after a glorious seven-year spell in West London that saw him win two Premier League titles, among other trophies. The bar the Belgian set is too high, but if Palmer's debut season at Stamford Bridge is anything to go by, he is also on course to becoming a club legend.
He has scored 21 goals in the Premier League this season with only Erling Haaland outscoring him. Apart from the player of the moment, Palmer was also feted with the goal of the month for the first of his four strikes against Everton.
