The decision from the French attacker follows PSG's heartbreaking elimination from the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, May 7, where they succumbed to Borussia Dortmund over two legs.

With his contract expiring in the summer, Mbappe's final home appearance for PSG will be against Toulouse on Sunday, May 12, at the Parc des Princes.

In a video posted to Instagram, the 25-year-old said, as quoted by ESPN, "Hi everyone, it's Kylian. I wanted to speak to you. I've always said that I would speak with you when the time comes, and so I wanted to announce to you all that it's my last year at Paris Saint-Germain.
"I will not extend, and the adventure will come to an end in a few weeks. I will play my last game at the Parc des Princes on Sunday.
