However, it was the La Liga giants who managed to get the job done to book a place in the final.

The Guardian reports that Joselu was the man of the moment, with the Spaniard scoring two goals deep in the second half to earn Real a vital win.

Alphonso Davies had earlier on handed Bayern the lead before Joselu struck twice at stoppage time.

Real Madrid stars wear special jersey

The hosts pulled on special kits shortly after the match to celebrate their victory.

Videos circulated online showed Real stars sporting kits with the message "A por la 15" printed on the back.

The message translates to "Go for 15" in English, referencing the club's bid to win their 15th Champions League.

The Carlo Ancelotti-tutored side are the most successful club in Europe, having won the elite continental competition a record 14 times.

They will be hoping to cart home their 15th crown when they play Borussia Dortmund in the final.

Dortmund booked their own spot after seeing off Paris Saint-Germain in the semis.

Dortmund send Bellingham message

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Borussia Dortmund sending Jude Bellingham a message ahead of their Champions League final meeting.

Bellingham spent more than three years at Dortmund between 2020 and 2023 before he sealed a dream move to Real Madrid.

Barely months after his move, the Englishman is scheduled to come up against Dortmund in the final of the Champions League.
