Joselu notched two late goals in the second half to erase Alphonso Davies' early breakthrough, securing Carlo Ancelotti's squad a berth in the upcoming Champions League final.

Sports Brief spotted a video capturing Zidane's reaction to the Real Madrid substitute's decisive goal, which swiftly garnered broad attention across social media platforms.

This season's Champions League final, featuring Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund is scheduled to be held at Wembley Stadium on June 1.

The Spanish giants are poised as favourites to further assert their European dominance, having secured their sixth UCL final appearance in the last 11 years. Of the last 10, they have won five.

Will Zidane take the Bayern job?

Meanwhile, L’Equipe has cast doubt on the rumours linking Zidane to Bayern Munich, suggesting instead that the Frenchman is more inclined towards taking over at Manchester United.

Reports indicate that Zizou saw the Bayern managerial post as unattractive for two main reasons: he's not keen on residing in Bavaria and his limited proficiency in German poses a significant obstacle.

However, the allure of winning trophies easily with the Bavarians, along with the club's financial prowess, could present strong incentives for a manager of Zidane's calibre to contemplate.

As a manager, the French legend swiftly established himself as a prominent figure among the world's top managers, clinching three Champions League titles at the helm of Real Madrid.

Supercomputer backs Real Madrid to win UCL

Sports Brief also previously reported that a supercomputer has predicted Real Madrid will win this season's UEFA Champions League.

According to Opta's prediction algorithm, Los Blancos are heavily topped to secure their record-extending 15th European crown.
