Legendary Nigerian midfielder, Sunday Oliseh, has commented on Real Madrid's comeback win over Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals on Wednesday evening.

The first leg of the tie ended in a 2-2 draw in Germany, but a 2-1 win for Los Blancos in the second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu booked them a place in the competition's final with a 4-3 win on aggregate.

Alphonso Davies scored a superb goal in the 68th minute to give the Bavarians the lead, but two goals in quick succession from second-half substitute Joselu gave Real Madrid the deserved win over the Bundesliga giants.

"Wow! Extraordinary Ballon D'or worthy Vinicius jr + extraordinary coach Carlo Ancelotti + an absolute top Real Madrid!" he said.

The former Nigerian international went further to explain what he loved about Real Madrid in the comeback win against Bayern.

"Turned defeat to legendary victory in 3 Minutes !! I love Real's non stop variety football philosophy. A tactical blast watching Real Beat Bayern Munich," he added.

Real Madrid will face another German team in the final, Borussia Dortmund, which is Oliseh's former club invariably.

According to a report by Soccerway, the tournament's final is scheduled for Saturday, June 1, 2024.
