After spending four years at Napoli, Osimhen is widely expected to bid farewell to the Italian club this summer as the Super Eagles striker is commanding interest from top European clubs.

According to Metro UK, Salah could also end his seven-year stay at Liverpool this summer after coming under heavy criticism from the club supporters and some English pundits following an underwhelming campaign.

Here, Sports Brief takes a look at some of the African players reportedly set to make the biggest transfer in Europe when the summer transfer window opens at the end of the season.

Which African players could move?

1. Victor Osimhen

Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly going neck-to-neck for the signature of Osimhen in the summer transfer window.

The Blues are prepared to offer the Super Eagles striker a contract worth €10 million a year to entice him to join the London club in the summer, Football Transfers reports.

PSG, meanwhile, has identified Osimhen as the ideal replacement for Kylian Mbappe who has confirmed he is leaving the Parisians at the end of the season.

2. Mohamed Salah

Liverpool are prepared to smash a European club's transfer record in order to sign an electric player with similarities to Salah in anticipation of the Egyptian’s departure from the club, Football Fancast reports.

The 31-year-old joined the Reds in 2017 and has enjoyed an extremely successful campaign with the Anfield club, winning numerous trophies including the Premier League and UEFA Champions League.

Salah has been widely tipped to leave Liverpool at the end of the season after a public spat with manager Jurgen Klopp and also facing criticism from the club’s fans for his form this season.

3. Mohammed Kudus

With Salah set to move to Saudi Arabia in the summer, Liverpool are lining up a bid for Mohammed Kudus to replace the Egyptian forward, Team Talk reports.

Kudus may have a secret release clause in his Hammers contract that Liverpool can exercise in the coming weeks.

The Ghanaian international joined West Ham for around £38 million last summer and has proven to be a terrific addition.

Chelsea’s swap deal for Osimhen off

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Chelsea's alleged bid to sign Osimhen by swapping on-loan striker Romelu Lukaku has reportedly been rejected by Napoli.

The Blues were said to have been willing to offer Lukaku, another young player, and €90 million to Napoli in exchange for the 25-year-old Super Eagles striker when the summer transfer window opens.
