The 2023-24 German Bundesliga Team of the Season has been announced, with Harry Kane, Serhou Guirassy, and a Super Eagles star leading the way.

A few weeks ago, Bayer Leverkusen was crowned champions, winning their first Bundesliga title in history and ending Bayern Munich's dominance in the league.

Xabi Alonso's side dominated the team of the season with six players, followed by Bayern Munich and VfB Stuttgart, which each had two players; Borussia Dortmund completed the squad with one player.

According to a report by All Nigeria Soccer, Victor Boniface was named on the team despite missing eleven games due to an injury in January.

The Super Eagles star missed the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations due to injury and returned to action recently.

The Nigerian striker is Leverkusen's joint-top scorer this season in the Bundesliga, scoring 11 goals and providing nine assists.
